Heard good thing about Honeycrisp apples. Sourced my first from lidl tonight (and some nice cheap mango's as well ).

They are okay but nowt special. It's nice to have the Asian pear after taste without having to eat such a bland fruit. Presumably lidl have source the afterbirth from this particular French grower.

I've been tempted for a while to get some really fresh ones shipped over from the US so I can taste them at their best. All the online stores charge a hideous amount without shipping included. Need to sweet talk a friend over there .

I've just this week moved into my mate's house, I've fixed my room up really nice (photos to follow) but the place is apparently haunted. The past two nights I've been nodding off to sleep and my PC has switched itself on, that never happened in my flat.

Does anyone understand batteries? 2 AAs in my maglite and it doesn't work. I checked them with my battery tester and one of the batteries has changed polarity! How can this happen? They are both very low though.

Every maglite I've had has broke for some odd reason, makes me sad.

Maglites are rubbish. I've had loads.

I have an LedLenser now and it's indestructible and very well made.
A bit like this which has 200 lumens

They also do one with 1000+ lumens. Just in case you want be seen from space.

NARGH! What the hell is the smell?

On and off for months now I've had this really strong smell come and go in the upstairs area of my house. Tonight for the first time in ages it's come back and is really overpowering.

It's not an entirely unpleasant smell - it's like someone's super heated one of those microwavable lavender bean bags. Driving me mad wondering what's causing it.

Either I've got a brain tumour or the next door neighbour is growing some sort of weird cannabis hybrid for ladies

Anyone know how to make a complaint about a Hackney Carriage Taxi? One just totally failed to spot a mini round about and nearly rammed me off the road when I was going around it (and had right of way). THEN he had the cheek to hurl loads of abuse at me. He blatantly didn't see the round about and obviously assumed it was a t-junction. LIVID!
