What's up with that used Porsche thread?

From the very moment of its inception, ntsc-uk has been about Charles' need to sell used Porsches. Something was needed to tempt us here, though. What did the internet need? What would attract people to a website that couldn't easily be found elsewhere? And so he struck upon the idea of an import games forum based in the UK.

He started the site, and watched people flood here.

But in the beginning, it was too soon. The members were too young. Too young to be able to afford to buy a used Porsche, and for some reason, they were more interested in games than cars.

And so he waited.

And waited.

And then, approaching the tenth anniversary of the site, when we were all ten years older, he felt it was time.

"It is time," he said. "Through various iterations of the Japanese versions of Gran Turismo, my gamers (for that is how he refers to us) have become interested in Porsches, and are old enough to both afford and drive them."

And then he posted that thread and locked it.

I’m currently doing an ethics module as part of my Health Studies course. Last week we looked at euthanasia and this week it was abortion. During the course of the discussion someone brought up the subject of onanism. Okay, okay! I brought the subject up. It was relevant. Anyway, one of the girls in the class asked what that meant and before I could help myself I spurted out ‘having a wank.’ Our lecturer, the Very Reverend Archpriest, Father Daniel, said ‘That was a bit naughty.’ He was smiling though. So were the ladies.

Banned a remembrance procession, removed the memorial under cover of darkness (presumably to avoid any hassle although he says otherwise of course), and destroyed the plinth. Village residents are also facing the prospect of having their homes demolished... to make way for a new port that supposedly hasn't even been approved yet. I'd be livid personally.
