Guys, My car has just turned 4 years old so I'd like to wash the seats but don't really want to take the covers off since I can imagine they'd have to be dry cleaned and be a right pain in the arse to put back on. What would you recommend being the best solution? They're fabric by the way. I don't really want to scrub them with anything hard in fear of the "carbon fiber" effect being pulled up. The last thing I want is a load of strands on my car seat.

Hahaha well spotted. I never noticed that there. Actually thats long gone. That picture is about 2 years old. I have home made iPod dock in the car now with TV out for everything, not just the ipod player.

I was looking at some fome in the car shop which they say you just spray on and it will lift out the dirt. But it also says its for leather

You can see where the confusion comes from though, right? You said you "have" a 530d, not that you were intending to buy one. And you haven't cleared up the 2010 M3. You said you'd bought that as well, and it was on a 12 week build, so according to your post it should be delivered to you in a couple of weeks. So what's the story there then? Just trying to help you out here, as the way you're writing your posts, it looks like you're just making stuff up.

Anyway, looking forward to the R8 pics, lovely cars. When can we expect them.
