They say that talking to yourself is the first sign of madness. However, I recently read somewhere that doing so is in fact perfectly normal and healthy.
Now, I have a confession to make. When I am by myself say, for instance alone in my flat, or working late at night (where again, I am often alone) I may, on occasion think out loud, but it's usually really just to keep myself company, if you get what I mean. And as I say, it's more a case of saying what I'm thinking (particularly if I'm playing a game or working on my computer and it does something to piss me off... like a few minutes ago when Media Player decided to change some of my mp3 tags to what it thought they should be without even asking me... ) rather than babbling incoherently like a schizophrenic.
So... I can't be alone. Referring to the article I read (I wish I could link it, but I forgot where I even found it), many people do this. Do you?
Come on, someone reassure me that I'm not completely alone in this!
