It's nice to look back on these things, and you can really lose yourself in keeping a record.

No one been out on the rivers lately, with the season starting last week?

Had a few nice Bream hauls, last one on monday was 40lb+ in an evening session, pretty much all of them around the 4lb mark and a few Roach/Rudd hybrids up to around 7oz and the odd 1lb Roach.

Doing an overnight session on Saturday, so hopefully I'll pull out a few big Bream then.

I haven't had chance as yet mate, got a permit for a nice stretch of a little river with some decent Chub, Barbel and Perch in it though which i intend to get stuck into

Nice. Prefer Tench & decent Bream to Chub & Perch though.

Maybe you should come down to my fave spot and see if you can catch these Carp that everyone has seen, but no one has ever caught!

Went for an overnight session on Saturday, did moderately ok I guess. 78lb of Bream with a couple of 6lb fish in there. Should have done well over a ton, but there was floating debris right where I was casting so it lost me quite a few casts, but when I avoided it, I was getting pretty much a hit a chuck. Also had a few Roach/Rudd hybrids and a nice Roach over 1lb.

Any luck with those Chub & Barbel James?

Last 3 trips to my local spot have got me hauls of 40lb, 78lb & 41lb, mostly Bream. Here are a couple of pics of the pick of my last catch.

A couple of nice fives in the second pic, but missed the big ones - a 10lb+ was taken out on Thursday evening!

Are those all alive Fammydodd? If so, you must have worked quickly.

Also - lol at your Ratners necklace.
