Hm. Very shocking news, given that he's very much an iconic figure and was revered by many during my childhood. I haven't listened to his records for years but it's saddening nonetheless.

I'm totally gutted about this & it is a real shock to the system.
Damn all those that have f*cked him over in the past. I've never had a bad word to say about the guy & real felt like he'd been ripped to pieces for being different & excentric.

To me this is far more important that Princess Diana dying.

I was thinking exactly the same man.

Thriller is better all day every day. His best album by miles. Arguably the best pop record ever made.

I'm devastated.

His early stuff was legendary: Thriller, Bad etc.
