No point arguing about which is the better album, ffs, it depends what mood you're in. Thriller is smoother and poppier, Off The Wall a little funkier, and both feature the genius production of Rod "Heatwave" Temperton.

Hmm, I was defending him in a converstation with some ladies at work today, whilst listening to the 'Bad' album.

Fair **** news tbh, I'm a massive fan.

Hm. Very shocking news, given that he's very much an iconic figure and was revered by many during my childhood. I haven't listened to his records for years but it's saddening nonetheless.

I'm totally gutted about this & it is a real shock to the system.
Damn all those that have f*cked him over in the past. I've never had a bad word to say about the guy & real felt like he'd been ripped to pieces for being different & excentric.

His early stuff was legendary: Thriller, Bad etc.

RIP a true legend. This is so so sad & I really cant believe it still.

Never been a huge fan beyond his major hits...but my god this is quite shocking.

the media killed him , all the pressure and stress,
Yep. The media killed him a long time ago.

I feel physically sick. This hurts. Uri Geller just couldn't speak, again, on BBC Live from LA.

Gamberchini is having a hard time discussing this on BBC News now.
I've been hearing a lot of thunder rumbling outside for the last hr now. Thats a bit eerie & freaky to hear when someone has died.

Hmm, I wonder if it was something to do with the fact he was slightly stressed out with the 50 shows he was meant to do next month.
