these cheap Norton renewals on eBay......

    Are they legit

my old one just ran out and they wanted £84 to renew it

so i went on eBay and bought one for £15 and the guy basically emailed me a bunch of information which has all checked out and my computer is now protected again

when i look at the account he set up there is minimal information, but there is a norton products page and there is states that someone paid 116euros for this product.

I'm i looking too deeply into this or have i bought something that has probably been bought using a stolen credit card or something

trying to rack my brains in the hope that somebody hasn't been conned and that is is all good

Not sure, but if it turns bad, and you fancy paying for something, use eset nod32 instead. It works better and doesn't cock up your PC (as was my experience with norton).

PC World or WH Smith will do you a 3 license copy of 2009 for 25 notes.

They're probably OEM mass bought licences. So long as they validate there's probably little wrong with them. Pay with Paypal, if they're no good, just claim the money back.
