Sir Terry Wogan to leave breakfast show

The only shows I listen to on Radio 2 are Lardy boy & Janice long but I have listened to janice in so long she may not even be on still....

I'm not that keen on Wogan, there is some funny stuff on his show but it all comes from the emails/mail that are from the listeners.
What I detest about Wogan is when he cries poverty/the pittance that he gets paid, joking or not we all know he gets a fortune for the small amount of work he does.

That said I miss his caustic comments on Eurovision.

Wogan may earn a lot of money, which he has always admitted himself, but to be fair the amount of work, time and devotion that he has spent for Children in Need, and the fact that he helped establish the charity makes up for his own salary which he is more than entitled to as he's worked for it. He could have easily done nothing to help charity, but has decided to devote so much of his life to helping children, even now in his 70's as an old geezer.

I have no problem with people not liking Wogan, but criticising him for his charity work is not right. Sometimes it feels like people are just looking for something negative to say out of all the good someone has done.

He's always been a shrewd guy when it come to the pennies, and that's why he's worth a fortune.

I don't like Wogan either. He just gibbers utter nonsense, and not in a good way. The quad pronged attack of him followed by Ken Bruce (the Scottish equivelent of Wogan), then Jeremy Vine (total twat), followed by the king of annoying c**ts, Steve "I'm so Wacky" Wright, just makes me hate daytime Radio 2. I'm not a fan of Chris Evans either, but I'm finished work by the time he arives on air, so don't have to listen to that tool either.
