Rllmuk is closing?

I was a lurker there for a while, and post occasionally. There isn't a whole lot of actual gaming chat on there compared to here.

Also there is a few people on there who just seem to cause trouble the whole time. Can't be bothered with that.

I used to post there, but now I just lurke. I find it great to read because there are some genuinely inspired posters there, However the culture of the forum is very unmodderated, leading to some very cutting replies - the use of the C word in about every post seems almost compulsory. I know it's just banter, but it comes across as very aggresive banter.

However some threads like the Tim Langdell one is essential reading. The sales thread is usally good entertainment too. It will be sad if it goes and is not replaced.

I like the community atmosphere here at NTSC, I don't feel compelled to post on rllmuk often. Besides most of useful members at rllmuk are actually members from here although I suppose there are probably a few others that aren't.

I also love how forums always think they are unique, like yeah mann we had good times and we're the best forum around etc. When really they are pretty much all the same.

I hope RLLMUK doesn't close down, their trading forum is excellent. I'd be very surprised if they do though, a group of their members will buy and run the site I'd imagine.

I would say the trade section on here is better, for the size of rllmuk the trade section is quite weak in comparison.

Anyways I love lurking around other forums and reading all the threads.

Might I add that the" Pics that make you laugh for no apparent reason " on Neo-Gaf is huge but fecking hilarious.

It took me about 5 hours to go through it about 4 weeks ago and laughed at every page.
