    Patrick Swayze RIP

BBC, News, BBC News, news online, world, uk, international, foreign, british, online, service

I was fortunate enough to work with the guy a few years back and a real nice dude. When he came out to meet us for the first time he came out the dressing room with a can of hairspray down his tight leather trousers

Got to feel for the man, never a massive fan of most of his films but he always came across as a decent bloke.

It's sad that he's died a relatively young age but at least his family will be able to take comfort in the fact he's not in pain anymore.

Sad news. I thought he was recovering and doing another film. Brave guy to keep working and not let cancer completely affect him. RIP

It's all about Road House. That there is the best homo-erotic, gratuitous sex and violence movie ever made. The ridiculous hair, the bouncer-buddy story, the bad guy makes good. It's a masterpiece.

              RIP, Patrick.

                Indeed. It's a classic. 100% pure adrenalin.

Poor ol' Swayze. He'll be missed.

I only saw him in Donnie Darko, but I thought he was class in that.

Obviously, his iconic status stemmed from his earlier work, but I make a point of not watching "Chick Flicks" regardless of whoever is in them.

Still, it's a real shame that someone as well loved as he is, is sadly no longer with us.

                    RIP indeed.

I thoroughly enjoyed his last series "The Beast" shown recently on channel 5. It was his best work imho. A real legend that will be sadly missed.

My wife went to see the Dirty dancing stage show last night.

                        Pauline Calf will be gutted.

                        RIP.

I shocked by the number of people who haven't seen Road House. It's a classic.

Doc: Do you always carry your medical record around with you?
                          Dalton: Saves time.

                          Steve: Being called a c*cksucker isn't personal?
Dalton: No. It's two nouns combined to elicit a prescribed response.
Steve: What if somebody calls my mama a whore?
                          Dalton: Is she?

                          Dalton: Sorry, we're closed.
Ketchum: Then what are all these people doing here?
Dalton: Drinking and having a good time.
                          Ketchum: That's why we're here.
Dalton: You're too stupid to have a good time.
