Just had the brid round who checks our rented house over to see that we haven't destroyed it and confirm this to the landlord.

Apparently there have been a few complaints about my dog barking. Bearing in mind I live a small close in a village where literally 95% of my neighbours have dogs that bark their tits off, I'm a bit miffed.

Yes, I have a noisy dog, but we're working on calming him down. I'd be much happier if people approached me directly and told me they found it annoying etc. What's even worse is that I've known most of these people my entire life.

Failure of shops to price match their own websites. I know what the reasons are and I don't care. It's not like every single person asks about the web price. I think they should make an exception rather than lose the custom altogether, i.e. tonight I asked HMV to match their web price on a DVD box set, they wouldn't, bought from Amazon instead.

Speaking of Amazon though why is it they take so long to dispatch these days? Is it just if you choose super saver delivery?

Debt recovery agencies.

I've just had a letter through the post claiming I owe Capital One ?433.69!

Someone has ****ed up somewhere, as that card had a zero balance and I cancelled it a good FIVE years ago!!!

Tried calling again to sort this out once and for all.

Rang the debt recovery people. No joy. They told me they'd tried to contact Capital One but were denied because of the data protection act.

So I rang Capital One direct. They told me I had to ring the dect recovery people.

Rang them back and spoke to some dip**** who couldn't understand what I was on about.

So now I have to wait for a call from Capital one, which I may not even get until next week, which is when I was told to call the debt recovery people.

FFS how hard is it to sort this cock up out?

Either way, no one is getting a penny out of me. EVER!

Late at night sweating in bed, wide awake with the bedsheets sticking to you sucks. It sucks when you're in an office and can't have the air conditioning on because a woman complained 'it blows on her' so you're sweating uncontrollably whilst she sits there (with a cardigan draped round the back of her chair that she could've easily put on).

I prefer overly cold to overly hot. When it's cold you can wrap up warm. When you're too hot you can't do anything about it.

Our air conditioning controls are in a lockable room. I set them to the optimal temperature for the room (Which is cool) and tough crap to anyone that wants to change it. You can put clothes on, I can't strip mine off!

Seriously, I'm here at the moment in shorts and a t-shirt. I see jumpers and jackets all around me.

NOTE 1: I'm not the only person in here that likes it cool, so I'm not being quite as selfish as that sounds.

NOTE 2: I'm comfortable in all kinds of weather really, don't mind one way or another. Except for the silly snow we had earlier in the year, that wasn't fun at all.
