Yeah, but not for another 6 months. And I have to pay an additional 80 quid, get a day off from work, study all over again etc. But that's how I'll learn my lesson I guess... :P

          NEW IRK:
Shifting discs in consoles between games that are only played for small bursts at a time. I work out with EA Active 2 (don't laugh) on my PS3, and try to do so five times a week. So I constantly have to switch between that game and whatever else I'm currently playing. Games like that, Call of Duty, Rock Band and other games that are similarly "pick-up-and-play-then-go-do-something-else-for-a-while" should have the option to boot without the disc, and instead require some online verification. Would make my life a tiny bit better.

So you play an exercise game then moan about getting up to change discs? Just look at it as being a bonus stage

Bought Resistance Trilogy ps3 today (seperate copies) from cex. Now its not an irk BUT I did do it deliberately, noticed platinum copies of R 1 & 2, thought im gonna test this out, picked up non platinum copies.
Just opened up R1, lo and behold platinum disc lets check R2 make it a double whammy?
Of course both platinum discs, made me chuckle at least but its still a god damn irk people don't match up bloody disc to boxes!

I make them go back and get a non platinum disc. If there's none left, I don't purchase the game.

Nintendo got it right by having the same discs(/carts) in both type of boxes!

Exactly why I'll be getting Animal Crossing as a digital download rather than a cart.

Surely carts themselves are the answer to that whole problem. Or would be, if it weren't for Nintendo's HORORORORORORORORENDOUS health and safety bull**** screens.

People have been posting this picture to Facebook all day today, like it's the ultimate gaming setup:

It's disappointing to see how many of them are so easily impressed, particularly when most of the people sharing it on my news feed probably don't even know what a PC Engine is. The range of machines is certainly broad but the setup itself is terrible.

Wtf yellowed Dreamcast!? Or is it some ltd edition one?

I like it, it shows them off like a museum display but I can't tell from there whether they're all hooked up or if you have to take each one out to use it. Probably do, so I think it's not really a gaming setup as such.
