Irk: Why do some websites make you watch an advert before showing you a movie trailer, which is essentially an advert?

*no response not even saying thanks it'll be out soon*

*PM member saying you've left feedback and can he do the same when he has a spare 5 minutes*

*a couple of days later PM member spoon feeding him your feedback link so he can actually be bothered to make a post in it*



When I sell a game I say thanks for payment, I tell them when its going out, I tell them when it has gone out, I leave feedback promptly.

Is it so difficult?

Yeah, I'd say I'm lucky enough to have rarely encountered that type of skankness on here, but have done on other forums. What price civility?

I'd also say I've bought double the items that I've been left feedback for. Either I'm a total ringpiece of a buyer and these people can't be bothered to rant about it and stir up a keg of turds, or they just can't be arsed.

Does remind me of something a while back actually - offered something in the freebie thread, got a PM from someone with just 'i'll take this'... nothing else. Was a bit miffed, but figured as I wanted rid of said item I responded anyway, asking for their address.

Two or three days later he finally bothered to reply to me, with 'ok its <address here>'. No please or thanks at any point. So I decided not to bother, said that the item was no longer available. If you can't be bothered with basic manners, then don't waste my time.

That is something that bugs me,another thing when I pay straight away I expect the game/item to be posted in a couple of days,not a week later!!

Speaking of websites a major irk is sites that you visit, and within seconds of navigating the page you are rudely interrupted by a stupid pop-up claiming you've won something.

Another irk, women's obsession with the toilet seat. So I left it up when I went to pee, is it REALLY so time consuming for you to just *gasp* put it down again!? I've never met a woman who didn't moan about that. And let's face it, it's trivial.

Another one is being unemployed.

Went to the job centre to make a new claim after losing my job and they gave me my signing time. 9AM!!! So now not only to I have to get up earlier than normal, I also have to put up with the morning traffic and school kids packing out the bus. To have any chance of avoiding them AND getting there on time, I'll have to get the bus before 8AM which means waiting in town for around 45 minutes. In the rain most likely.

I like to respond with sarcasm. Say you're going to leave the front door open the whole time, because if moving a toilet seat is that hard for them you can't imagine they could cope with a big door that has locks and keys
