Not checked if it's open again, yet, but Hyperia at Thorpe Park is looking pretty, pretty good.

It looks like SUCH a good ride. I really want to go soon. Not been for years and years (to be fair, they've opened sweet FA in the last decade until this).

Might be lining up a visit with a mate and his little boy, but he's only 5 so a bit too small for the big guns! If we do it, I'll queue for the big rides and get 'parent swap' fast passes while he takes his son on the smaller rides.

                  At D23 Disney hyave announced:

Monsters Inc. Land will be added to DisneyWorld, the ride is expected to take over an existing building so isn't really a 'Land' however it will be a suspended coaster ride replicating the sequence from the end of the first film where the doors are carried on rails and riders pass through them into different locations.

Avengers Campus at Disneyland will be doubled in size, adding two rides - Infinity Defense, which will see riders pass through Wakanda, Asgard and New York as they battle Thanos, and Stark Flight Lab with Robert Downey Jr reprising his role as Tony Stark.

Encanto will be added to DisneyWorld in the Animal Kingdom following Antonio as he is given his animal powers and leads into the Kingdom.

Indiana Jones will also be added to DisneyWorld Animal Kingdom. The ride will be based in a Mayan temple with a mythical creature and alongside Encanto will open in 2027.

Avatar: Pandora will be added as a new land in Disneyland. It will feature a new theming for Pandora so that it doesn't match the one at DisneyWorld and will be more focused on the sequels.

Coco will be added to Disneyland, in the California Adventure area, and takes riders through the land of the dead in a similar manner as Pirates and Haunted Mansion. Construction begins in 2026.

A Cars Land will be added within Frontierland at DisneyWorld, the art suggesting it will replace Rivers of America.

Finally, the biggest one, DisneyWorld is to recieve a large new land in the form of Villains Land. It will have shopping, dining and two new rides.

Beyond this, at D23 it was also announced that a Lion King area will be added to Disneyland Paris to replace the now cancelled Galaxy's Edge expansion, though the art is out of date with the ride said to have now been amended to reflect the classic original rather than soulless remake:

2026 is still set to the World of Frozen open at Disneyland Paris also which will create a new lake and two new areas on each side.

Wow. Looks like Universal have finally lit a fire under them. This is a pretty substantive set of updates globally. Villains Land at Magic Kingdom is an interesting one because that has been rumoured for a very long time.

Honestly I'd still really like to see them build an actual new park in Florida. Epic Universe looks brilliantly done and it would be cool to see Disney do a full-blown new one. It's been thirty years.

I don't know if its true but apparently Disney have missed the gun so much with a new park at DisneyWorld that thanks to the law changes, if they greenlit it today, it wouldn't open its gates till 2050 which is why so much investment is now headed to Disneyland instead

I was surprised to hear that so gave it a quick google, and while it was true, it seems it no longer is and they are now greenlit for a fifth park within the next decade if they so choose:

Months after Disney and Florida’s governor settled their legal beef, the company is now authorized to expand with a potential fifth park sometime over the next decade.

Nice to hear, DeSantis must have rolled over when his Presidency bid failed. Disney should move on it as Epic Universe looks set to really make a dent
