I wasnt a huge fan of Boyzone nor Matt Lucas, but its still tragic to find out.
Gately failed to wake up, & Lucas' ex seems to have taken his own life.
And both on the same day.

It's a bit vague about how Gately died. It is sad news though as he was only 33.

Not being funny, but people die every day...I can kinda put up with the celebrity-front-cover "My death is more important than anyone elses" thing, but, no disrespect to Matt's ex...who is he? :S

Sad when anyone dies young of course, my condolences to whoever needs them!

Yeah.. I'd kinda hate for my obituary to be along the lines of "person named in paragraph 4 who was BRIEFLY ENGAGED WITH B-LIST CELEB dead". Especially considering the fact they split probably means he probably didn't have terribly good memories associated with him.

Like I said earlier, I'm just stating that I saw both on Yahoo news today, so decided to put them both on the same thread. Lucas' ex killed himself.
I know he's a nobody (Lucas' ex) so we'll forget about him then ok.

I thought he was the co-creator of Little Britain. Or was that only Lucas? The stories I read made much out of his drug use, so I assumed he was known to some people.
