I've had a few. I've brought every variety of Rekorderlig Cider in Sainsbury's for the festive period and I've had 2 today (Mixed Berry along with Cinnamon and Vanilla) along with 2 glasses of Disaronno during christmas present wrapping. I love Christmas.
Aww I have ran out of my top ales, bought 8 local beers from tyne bank but they gone now, I'm having a sly couple of G+T's with an unexpected bottle of Gin I got for Xmas (I have never had Gin before, it's not too horrid I guess)
- Couple of pints of Five Points Pale Ale, ABV 4.4%. Nice, smooth and very easy to drink.
- 660 ml bottle of Beavertown Stingy Jack Spiced Pumpkin Ale, ABV 7.2%. Strong bastard - nice but not sure I could do more than one bottle in a sitting. Prefer my Pumpkin Ale to be a little sweeter and smoother if I'm honest, like Samuel Adams' Harvest Pumpkin Ale (not sure if that is sold anymore though).
Ive had bottles of:
Wychwood Bah Humbug
Thwaites Yule Love It
Odells 90 Shilling
In pubs: Camerons Festive Frolics Loch ness brewery festive-ness Alechemy Daylight Strobbery milk stout Anarchy brew co christmas chaos rum raisin Cameron's A-Hopalyspse Now Left hand brewing black jack porter Allendale Fermata Yorkshire dales brewing co saison's greetings Hadrian border brewery 12 hops of christmas Highland brewing company limited Christmas light Yorkshire dales brewing co ice ice baby Mikkeller Hoppy loving Christmas Mikkeller Red white Christmas
Maxim Brewery Santa's Soot
Pleased this year that many of the festive beers I have actually tasted were heavier, with a fuller body. Just as it should be. Stronger winter warmers and dark beers. None of this summer stuff relabelled for Christmas ****e. Festive-ness by Loch Ness got a rare maximum from me.
I'm still tempted to buy a bottle of the Ron de Jeremy for the lols
still having the Bombay sapphire, not back in toon till Monday to pick up more beers
Yeah me too! I'll nab one and let you know what its like. Crikey he must be old now - remember watching some pornos in the 90s with him in them and he was old then....
