Sales bargains 2009

Inspired by the Xmas pressies thread, has anybody braved the mad crowds to hit the sales yet? If this is too similar to stuff in Bargains forum, feel free to move it over there

Headed out into Brum at the crack of dawn yesterday to pick up a Ted Baker suit I'd seen in House of Fraser on Christmas eve. Tried it on ahead of time to make sure it fit so could just pick it up and pay come Boxing day. Found it had been discounted by 50% from £350 to £175, and opened up a store card for this one off purchase, netting a further 10% off, bringing it to £153 or so.

I got the collectors edition Forza3 in Game for £32.98 which I know isn't as cheap as online, but works for me as I had vouchers.

Game were also doing the Rengade edition DJ Hero for £99.00 in Kettering yesterday but still feel thats expensive as I know I'll be poo at it.
