iPad thread!

I've never had to reset something to get it working as much as I did with the ipad yesterday.

Out on site today on my own, and it's been a little treat to have with me, as i've just sat playing golf all day. (I have NOTHING else to do!)

I'd rather smash it against the wall than step in to an apple store. Horrible places.

Turns out that simply resetting my router has cured all of my iPad woes. Videos now playing and loading fast, no lock ups, iTunes working directly to the unit. Happy days!

pinball dreams/fantasies is on iphone, it was 59p not long back also. Works well on iPad. Theres also pinball HD which is a bit.. mmh.

Played modern combat 2 for a fair while today. Once you get used to the touch screen controls it's a pretty decent FPS considering the format.

I got living earth for 59p and it's rather lovely, a nice rotating globe with satellite imagy of clouds and weather overlaid, also showing accurately the line where darkness is falling.

You add in cities you want and it then shows a little weather update for each one.

You can't zoom in very far, its not google earth, buts it's rather lovely all the same and i keep going back in to have a look.

Finally gave in and got myself an iPad. I know I should have probably held on and waited for the iPad 2 but sod it, I wanted one now!

Got a refurbished 32GB WiFi model from Apple, camera connection kit, a soft case and screen protector for the same price as a brand new 32GB model. There isn't a single blemish on my iPad, looks as good as a brand new one, so I'm very pleased.

I shall be trawling through this thread and others now, making big lists of apps to download

Luckily I've got a few "HD" apps for my iPhone 4 that I can sync to the iPad straight away.
