Face is pretty dull on Babydoll, no use having all those dynamic poses if she looks bored, should have come with a more expressive face as well as the stoic one.

The statue by Gentle Giant is leagues ahead imo.

That was totally it! ?40 for a decent replacement, might keep it in mind for when I've tracked my G1's.

I thought it sounded very familiar! I had a lot of Ghostbusters stuff when I was young (well, I still have most of it) so I remembered the lizard car thing from the adverts and the back of the toy packets. Will have to post a pic up of the old toys some time, I don't think any of them survived unscathed over the years mind haha.

Thanos Update:

Due to the quality issues we’ve been experiencing on the recent Space Throne Thanos, we are halting any further shipments from Bowen Designs.

Even though the actual returns we’re receiving are relatively few, we want to make sure collectors are happy with what they’ve paid for.

Current individual orders, and retailer are being cancelled, until further notice.

We’re attempting to hire some man-power to try and resolve the quality issues, but it’s going to take some time.

So RB was obviously not happy with how many Thanos have gone out looking more than ****ty and isn't sending anymore out, he has said they are gonna open all of what they have left and then decide what do next.

Last time this happened with the Avalanche bust, 48 were sent out and it went from being a $50 bust to $500 in a weeks time, so god knows whats gonna happen with Thanos.

I can happily say though that my Thanos was shipped yesterday from my guy and from the pics he sent me mine looks pretty damn nice. The throne looks perfect pretty much and as for Thanos himself apart from some blue paint on the gold around his crotch area he looks pretty damn good too.

So i should have pics of him later this week hopefully

Been watching the fallout from the Thanos quality issues over the last week on some of the statue forums.

Sounds like a bit of a disaster for Bowen, seeing as it was a major piece.

Agree with what you say about the potential price increase Neo. Not that I think you are going to flip it or anything, lol.

Looking forward to some pics when he arrives matey.

I'll be waiting for a couple more years I think (post Avengers 2 I suppose), when hopefully Sideshow will do some tasty looking interpretation.
