I really wasn't expecting it to be an Australian product, I would have expected most English speaking countries to have moved away from the modern connotations.

From the look of the fantastic website they seem to be making the most of it and they even have their own clothing line.

It's easy to forget that advertisers live in the exact same world we do, maybe they called it Retardex on purpose knowing that it would generate word of mouth.

Yet, if asked, they always have the option of saying:
"Retardex? No! As if we would do that! Get your mind out of the gutter. We intended it to mean that it retards the development of tooth decay!"

All the while knowing exactly how it would stick in people's minds.
