How dare you sir. James Iha is great!

I agree he is a decent enough guitarist, but his solo album was rank. He has a very weak voice and his lyrics are awful.

But yeah, apart from that, he's great.

If i am honest i likes your guitar playing more than your singing, infact i couldn't hear or understand your vocals. But i liked the melody of your guitar playing, it's very calming........

I just read this thread. I can't sing, or play the guitar, yet I've topped 20k downloads by the simple tactic of singing **** songs about games. You play the guitar better than me, but I think we're about on a par singing wise.

However, talent is no impediment to success - there will always be hundreds of thousands of people more talented than you or me - just try something different that makes you stand out from the talented people.
