I've found the best way possible to cut out the Xmas Day excesses - you know, too much food and alcohol - catch the flu, then give it to your other half. You both feel crap on Xmas Day, and despite planning a quiet day together cooking xmas dinner, you realise that not only don't you feel like eating it, you don't have the energy to cook it!

Still, there's a few blu-ray presents (Inception, Scott Pilgrim and Salt) to watch, plus some new games (Fifa 11, Battlefield and Need For Speed) to play, so can't all be bad....

Bless my Mom who is oblivious to all kinds of gaming. She got me two games for Christmas that she thought i would like. Final Fantasy XIII and Just Cause on the 360. FFXIII I already own on the PS3 and Just Cause.... well...

She said she knew I liked Square-Enix games so she bought the she saw in town for me. It's the thought that counts anyhow.

Thanks mate! Merry Christmas to you too. Hope the Donkey Kong hint worked out! Sounds like you had the morning sorted. My day so far has involved copious amounts of coffe, white Toblerone and M&S mulled wine, going gaga over my pressies and feeling more and more happily sozzled on the aforementioned M&S mulled wine...
Oh, and yes... Mmmmm.... Christmas dinner... So much more awesome when cooked by someone else. This time, it's the mother in law! (Doing the cooking, not being cooked, of course...)

If I don't post here later tonight or tomorrow, you know it's all gone wrong...
