Yep, HNY people.
Sitting here on my own suffering from the lingering effects of what I suspect is Influenza B which I'm certain was given to me by some inconsiderate dickhead on the underground before Xmas. He spent the whole of the the time from Warwick Avenue to Oxford Circus coughing and sneezing into the carriage without any attempt to contain his explusions.
I think I'm over the worst (only two weeks of rasping coughing to go apparently) but for the best part of this week I hadn't felt as ill in years.
Not an experience I'd recommend so if you haven't had the 'flu jab this year, seriously consider it.
I'm tee-total and unsociable git anyway so the new year thing has never been of much consequence to me but I could have well done without this.
Things can only get better - that's what I'm hoping for in 2011.Comment

Had a really good night out, just got home now.
My sister tells me she loves me, apologises for the upbringing I've had and tells me that I'm one ****ed up kid.
In all honesty, as much as I love her, I really can't argue with what she said.

Fell asleep at 11. Daughter slept through the entire night, couldn't have asked for a better new year

My littlest was up half the night with a nasty cough. I'm absolutely wrecked. I feel like I was out all night partying and yet without the benefit of having had a good time.Comment
