There's no shame in liking the finale. I say this because I, too, liked the finale.

I get the nagging feeling the reason I liked it was because I didn't pay much attention to the sci-fi shenanigans.

Last I heard they were writing the scripts for a new series and it looked like it was going to come about, but this was from an interview about 6 months ago so maybe things have changed.

Yeah loved the Lost ending too, fitted the shows style completely and didn't see it coming at all.

They're making a series of episodes leading up to the movie. Due to the busy schedule of (some of) the actors, each episode will only focus on a handful of the characters. Netflix seems to be funding them, so don't know if they will show up on any station outside Netflix itself.
