    Words of the Day.

Just jot down words that you like. Feel free to use an online dictionary if someone uses a word you aren't familiar with.

I fully remember after leaving school and reading novels..I was forever using a dictionary!

Some words to get the thread started.

    Intent.
Supercilious. (I'm not, but many are, and worse, know they are)
    Beautiful.
Euphemism. (I learnt what this meant and how it was used years ago. 20 years later, people seem to think its a clever word that replaces anologies. *sigh*)
    LOVE.
Drunk - as which, I am.

    Annihilation.

The sound of the word and how it's spelt are just awesome. The meaning, meh.

Proprioception. A rather awesome concept that for some reason they don't teach at school.

The whole 'humans have five senses' thing is utter crud.

Same, Love learning in general (although, I think we can all agree there are some things we wish we hadn't learnt!)

                          Lamini...

Only found out the meaning after watching Michael Powell's Black Narcissus for the first time in years last week and finally felt the need to find out why the Himalayans call each of the nuns "Lemony".
