Just seen these guys on Scuzz. And as most of you I love all the multi-tracked Blazblue/Guiltygear mad technical metal, hell even Daytone CE gets in on the double bass bliss.

Anyway anyone know anymore mad jap metal I should be listening too?

Dir Eng Grey on Scuzz lol

Used to listen to them when Gauze came out and used to listen to Yokan religiously. Not heard them for ages though.

Gauze is a great album but they've gone in all sorts of musical directions since then. I'm a big fan - went to their first show outside of Asia, seen them bundles of times since, and well, my avatar is from the Glass Skin sleeve art. IMO they're the best band of the current generation coming over, but you should still check out a few others - top two other recs would be (early) D'espairs Ray & Mucc.
