    Comic Valuations

As I'm moving to Perth from the UK I'm trying to work out the best place to get my comic collection valued. It consists of X-Men, Captain America and other assorted heroes going to back to approx 1974.

Anybody know where or how I start??

    Many thanks

    I used to use http://www.comicspriceguide.com/

But realistically they are worth whatever they sell on ebay for.

Yep, they are valued at a certain price, but they never sell for that price unless it's a shop selling them. It sucks.

This reminds me of throwing away my first print run of Watchmen with the first signed by Alan Moore. This was before the film came out.

      Haha

Too right. I used to buy old Amazing Spiderman issues. Some were valued at $70 but went on ebay for more like ?8.

Thanks guys, looks like I'll be checking out Ebay then (much as I hate using it)

For what it's worth, Amazon prices seem a lot higher, as with other stuff. So you may get lucky listing stuff there.

However, some of the Amazon prices are rediculous and probably put a lot of people off.

I might sell some comics off but I haven't got the more valuable ones anymore.
