African Drought Appeal - HSBC Staff 3 Peaks Challenge

Guys, need your help. This is probably the wrong place to post this (I've no idea if Im even allowed but hey ho, you takes your chances)

    http://www.justgiving.com/African-Dr...eaks-Challenge

Me and a bunch of mate are taking on the 3 peaks challenge in order to raise money for this crisis. The challenge involves scaling the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales. Over a distance of 40km, we aim to cover nearly 3,000m of ascent and descent by foot. The challenges are very demanding but nothing compared to what our fellow humans in Africa are currently going through.

I'd greatly appreciate it if you would sponsor us. I appreciate you probably don't know us and we'll probably never meet up but I hope the crisis being faced by others far away from us can bring us together in another way, if not face to face

    thanks for reading

Good luck old bean. I have chucked a few quid your way. I hope you have got someone to do all the driving as that is the hard part. My dad did this the other year and said it was tough.

Much obliged Yorath, the gits are trying to get me to do it all but seeing as was last to get my license I doubt they'll go through with it. I make my 1.4s Lupo feel like a Ferrari

Just like to bump this thread and update you guys.

Got back last night after a 13 hour drive from Fort Willams. We completed the 3 peaks in crazy dangerous conditions, winds and rains trying their best to blast us off each mountains but we made it in the end. less than 3 hours sleep in between and eating curries didnt help either

Please help our hard work go even further by sponsoring me, its not too late and the reason I've put myself thought 3 days of hell was that others might survive starvation and disease.

        Thanks for reading

Good job, bash, that's a very admirable thing you did. Which climb/peak was your favourite?

Snowden was ok, Scaffold Pike was very pretty (as you would expect from the lakes) but Ben Nevis was something else, like epic in size and beauty. Tbh after Scaffold Pike gave us such a beating we thought we would even finish Nevis. We were advised we'd get 2/3 parts completed IF WE WERE LUCKY. So to complete it gave us such a buzz.
