    Viz Comics editions of mangas?

Can anyone tell me if titles like Crying Freeman were flipped from right to left for the English editions? Just asking since I although I understand why it's done, it kind of ruins the balance of some artwork.

Judging by the Amazon site, it reads:

presented in its original right-to-left reading orientation.

Thanks for that, I asked because I'm certain that wasn't the case with the early stuff they were putting out in the 90s.

edit-isn't that the Dark Horse edition? Aren't Viz a different publisher? I'd probably buy the Dark Horse version after seeing that, but I still wonder what the rest of the Viz collected editions are like, for future purchases.

I agree that I think Viz were some of the earliest publishers of manga and I think they thought people would freak out reading the wrong way so did the whole flipping procedure.

They did the whole flippin' procedure!

Viz pretty much stick to Shonen Jump properties now don't they? Don't blame them too much, ADV tried the whole "spread out and diversify as much as possible" approach and look how that ended...
