More Team GRAWsome love right here. Remember when those Americans joined our game and one found out a friend had been out to buy a TV and he lost his mind?

Glad I saw this thread as I hadn't seen the announcement. Borders Down bitches, kicking in the door of your region.

I found this place when I was looking for import Gamecube info - found Charles' thread detailing his experience; good stuff.

Cheerio for now then - if I don't meet you no more in this world, I'll meet you in the next one. Don't be late.

Oh man, I remember that. I was so excited. Lik-sang sent me a switched cube and no one else I knew would have one for months!

I think I found NTSC-uk when I was looking to import Animal Forest as it wasn't due for a PAL release, then I just got stuck here.

I have no idea whatsoever how I found this forum.

I find it extremely hard to believe I've been here since 2004.

All I need to do is bookmark the new site now.

Apparently I've been coming here since 2003 but it feels longer than that. I'll appreciate NTSC-UK for setting up a forum where PAL users could vent their fury at bad conversions, spread love and info about import gems as well as setting up a decent community where we could trade and meetup with like minded fellows (wouldnt be friends with Saurian and Will if not for this place)

The NTSC moniker has been redundant for a while now but I liked the fact the name was kept on. Bordersdown sounds ghey, might've well as called it trousers down and bend over.

To be honest I hang round here more now to argue with immature fanboys such as myself over crap films

Since we're talking memories, I think I started reading the site/forum around 2004 and it was instrumental in me keeping up with the import scene. I'll always remember the Wii launch when a load of us had preordered a US console at Import Madness (remember them?) and they completely ballsed up their preorders, telling us they were on their way when in fact, they hadn't shipped any at all. Chaos, but vividly sticks out in my mind.

The forum has cost me loads of money over the years with people hyping and championing the more obscure imports, and now that I'm a site reviewer, I'm hoping I can cost people money in return with reviews of weirdo Japanese stuff

I've been here long enough to be staff, just without any real skills to contribute beyond excess amounts of time online and thread making

I remember those idiots. Ordered three PS2 games from them some years back, totalling around ?70 I think... they took my order, but I never received anything. They were completely uncontactable via phone or e-mail, and my bank wouldn't help as I'd paid using a debit card. The impression I got was that they'd actually gone out of business, but left the website up and running to accept orders. Sure enough, a few months after I'd placed my order, their website vanished altogether. Wasn't best pleased.

Anyway, can't remember how I came across this place... possibly because it got mentioned on VGI's forum many moons back, but not sure. Have stuck around ever since though, despite not playing games anywhere near as much as I used to.

Rebranding is a strange thing. I'm not sure it will matter to this site too much; let's be honest, neither title had much inference of gaming to the average gamer. I'm not a fan of the new name, but now it's on the site it's less obtrusive than I'd imagined.

Well done to all involved, I have no doubt loads of work has gone on behind the scenes. I like the subtle and colour layout changes, it's cleaner, easiery on the eyes, more mature. Well done
