Sad to see her go though as someone else said it probably was inevitable and we can also guess what the casue of death was.

Real shame, thought she was great in her time,an immense voice and more natural talent in her big toe than any of these talentless twat$ that peddle their wares in today's pop scene or on X-Factor.

Add to that gorgeous looks & she had it all, pity her addictions ruined it all.

    RIP.

Loads of programmes Whitney related last night, everything from her video's to Bodyguard. Saw some bits and the difference from her early hits to the last few years is immense. Literally, death by Bobbi Brown.

Real shame this. Wasnt a fan but as has been said it was inevitable, & just like Amy Winehouse's situation she was introduced to drugs thru her scummy partner.

        Hope you're happy Bobby.

No doubt sales of her albums will increase over the next few wks bought by ppl who didnt even like her music, & someone else will benefit from the $$$$$$'s now.

I got flamed last time for writing that about Winehouse's death, but hey, theres plenty taking the p155 here so my comments are tame.

Couldn't agree more. 'Think' she was dabbling before meeting Browny boy but afterwards it was a steep downhill slide made clear from the quality and quantity of her output since meeting him.

Someone with her talent should still be doing top notch stuff, if not pop then soul or gospel. Crikey, if Rod Stewart can...

Sad to think she's gone. Her songs, as much as anyones, were always on the radio when I was a kid and so I always think of them as part of the playlist to my childhood. Hopefully she's in a better place now.

As for Bobby Brown, why is it we always have to single someone out for blame? Whitney Houston was was an adult with her own mind, if he did get her heavily into drugs, it's because she let him. If a man comes along and offers me crack and I take it, I'm the bigger fool.

Whats the difference between Whitney Houston and Glasgow Rangers?

Apparently a few of her albums were hiked up in price by about ?3 each on itunes as soon as the news broke.

Sad to see her life spiral so out of control and pass like this. I was not a huge fan, but I can certainly respect her talent and success. Sadly, it seems to be becoming the norm now with a lot of artists/actors.

Exactly, it's so obvious it's laughable, yet large portions of the media and society are always pointing the finger at and blaming others when people like Houston and Winehouse and Michael Jackson die of drug abuse. They killed themselves.

All that money paying Kevin Costner to bodyguard her was a waste!

                              Mr Telephone Man's lyrics sniff.

"mr telephone man there's something wrong with my line, when I dial my babies number I get a click everytime"

You're my boy Bob, my boy, but you gotta let her go man! She's gone!

Yeah she deserved those beatings he gave her & the broken nose too. I bet she couldnt get enough of the pain

Its obvious that she was also highly addicted not just to drugs but to him too, & had some kind of issues before meeting him as she couldnt let go of him despite that bad **** he did to her. She was obviously highly influenced by him believing that she was 'in love'. Like they say: Love is blind.

                                She was young & naive.

                                Just my opinion tho
