Some of you will know all about McQuarrie and those who don't will no doubt know the results of his work. He was the concept artist on Star Wars, Raiders and a whole bunch of other stuff like the original Battlestar Galactica. His Star Wars work is amazing and has become so well known that they even made some Star Wars figures from his early design work. He was and always will be a huge inspiration for me and was a defining influence in early childhood.

I have The Illustrated Star Wars Universe book by McQuarrie and Kevin J. Anderson. Truly a great artist and probably a large part of what made Star Wars what it is. His style was very unique and really made his pictures come alive.
