Re: E72. I had one if these. Amazing battery life but incapable of doing much beyond basic email. Buggy os too. Lovely keyboard and SMS app.

Galaxy S3 is going to be announced May 3rd I think. Can't wait, I'm expecting another phenomenal phone from Samsung, rumours of a 12mp camera too

You have got to be kidding me... There's not much that it can't do for the time of release. A significant chunk of the articles I wrote for this website were done on an E71 using QuickOffice, what exactly can the E72 not do that comparative phones could?

It had some teething problems sure as FP2 was perhaps pushed out a little before it was ready for primetime but I heard those were largely rectified by firmware updates.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 has been revealed with a release date of May 29th. It's quad-core on Android 4.0, some of the face has been eaten up by enlarging the screen. Nothing too shocking about it and personally, it's not as good looking as the S2

Bugged to hell, even with the latest and greatest firmware.
            Browsing the web utterly painful.
            Ovi store an utter joke.
No usable twitter app (when I had mine at least).
            No youtube / video

Loads more annoyance that I now cannot remember. To contrast though, a list of things that made it better than my iphone 4:

            1. A keyboard. not just any keyboard but a keyboard that you could type a letter on
            2. Ovi Maps. I could download the map of Cyprus BEFORE I went on holiday, arrive in cyprus, switch data off and navigate my way around the island because the map data was already on the device
            3. Battery life. Days and days of it

i use a samsung galaxy ace...and i hate it will be upgrading it as quick as possible its slow, battery runs out quick web browser does not even support flash

want to ask though i am tempted to get a iphone next (mostly to do with games like infinity blade aswell) are there any really good games on android (games that would need stuff like quad core processors etc)

I have an Xperia Arc, it's been fine. Although I will say I don't use my phone for much else apart from phoning people, and a very small amount of app use

I will probably will get an Xperia S next month when my contract has expired. There is a lot of choice out there.

Just get a decent Android phone - the Ace is one of the worst I've used. Still quite happy with my Galaxy S, but I'm gonna upgrade to the Galaxy Note I think.

Yeah I had one of that Orange San Franciscos. Garbage because it simply didn't have enough... anything. Just not powerful enough to run Android basically. An iPhone would be the same if it was underpowered. The first Galaxy S had enough raw power but various bad choices by Samsung crippled it in performance terms. Get the right combo though and I reckon Android devices are great. That first Samsung Nexus was a great device. Just raw Android without any Samsung nonsense.

Having had a 3GS for nearly 3 years ive been toying with the idea of a new phone for a while now, although the price of 4S contracts/phones meant I've had to look at slightly cheaper alternatives. I initially was waiting for the new Lumia 900 but went for a Samsung Galaxy note in the end. I haven't had much time to play around with it but initial impressions are really good and so far I'm not missing my iPhone.

?89 on a 20pm Orange contract on buymobiles.com which is by far the cheapest deal I found online if anyone else is after one

Is that the one with the massive screen? I want one of them. Like a small tablet but also a phone. Give us an update once you've had it a week or so?

It uses the same screen as the vita if you want to know the size of it
