I was trying to remember a type of biscuit for kids, i used to eat them when i was young...

They came in little crisp like packets, and were very small, smooth, round and had a filling of chocolate i think. They had this little stamp on the outer biscuit/shell too.

Damn i used to love them but cant think of what they were called for the life of me. gRRRR!

Dont want to go off topic, but there are so many awsome treats that were available when i was a kid that have sadly vanished into obscurity.

Another one was a banana like custard, with an awsome crumble like topping included to sprinkle over the top! I cant remember the name, but it was really yummy.

A lot of retro sweets can still be available in other countries, try some online retailers like American soda,
Cyber candy etc etc found some Australian imports of some uk discontinued stuff couple of years back

They look like them, despite the packaging not being too familiar.

The biscuits looked exactly like this, but rather with farm like animals stamped on them:

There is however a "bring back cartoonies" facebook page, so i reckon they are the ones.

                      They were awsome, cheers man!

The only picture I could find was German, but that was the name of the ones I remember. Different characters though and they would always be found in the same part of the shop as the iced gems.

I kind of recognise those biscuits too but no idea what the name could be.

Off topic again - I'm having trouble finding Chewits for some reason It seems the shops near me don't stock them

                              WH Smiths? 99p Store? Supermarkets?

99p Store back in Brighton used to sell a huge bag full of the 3 main flavours which I always felt represented good value

Edit: here they are at Tesco. Not a great price, but at least they have them!

I swear Tescos didn't have them instore last time I checked. I know for certain Sainsburys didn't and neither did my local shop!
I'll will check them again as maybe I just missed them.
Bet you can't find me any Opal Fruits
