    Posting to Norway?

Anybody know how much it would cost to post something to Norway, recorded? Is it possible to do this through Royal Mail? Should weigh more than about 500g.

You'll need AirSure, that's tracked and insured for foreign airmail. Note that Norway is not in the EU, hence you'll also need to fill out a Customs form. You can use the postage calculator on the Royal Mail website to tell you how much it will be.

I have a few years of experience in this haha.

To avoid that the recipent has to pay customs/tax the value (stated on the customs form that you fill out) can be no more than NOK200 (about ?20). But if you mark the package as "gift" the value can be up to NOK1000 (about ?100) before he/she has to pay.

The extra charge is around ?10 (administration fee) + 25% of the value stated if I remember correctly.

I know Royal Mail stopped doing AirSure to Italy, because of the dodgy postal system. You can get AirSure to many European countries, but just checked, yeah, Norway isn't one of them.

...and I recently sent a game to MoFo2 and did it via my local (small) Post Office. Dead easy. The cheapest option being ?2.93 for a AirMail Small Packet. All the info is on the Royal Mail website, I used the postage finder tool.
