Anyone had any issues with submitting posts?

I made a change to the database engine which prioritises queries over updates, so browsing should be faster and server locks (such as those which made the site fall over last week) shouldn't happen. I'm a bit worried that during high load, updates like posting in threads or putting up new threads might fail. Has anyone had this happen? Any details you can give me about what errors appeared?

Didn't notice anything when posting, but it was dragging a bit at times yesterday, taking ages just to load threads.

Yeah, I assume it is better today after my change? Seems much better to me? And search is back on properly.

The marvels of trying to keep a relatively busy site going on relatively hungry software on a relatively low end VPS (but great for what you pay) whilst using keeping the use of the word relatively relatively high.

Ignore any errors in the last 5 mins. I am aware.

It's been better in general, it's dragged a couple of times in the last few minutes though.

Tons of drag and a lot of server too busy for me but I do the majority of my browsing on IOS6 and Jellybean

Yeah recently I've had a few 'server too busy' messages when trying to post some more of my insightful wisdom for the edification of the other members.

Yeah, sorry I should have said in the first post - any problems with submitting from yesterday onwards. I know about all the server busy messages from last week. I'm guessing you'd get a blank screen or a "timed out" or something when trying to submit if there's any issue.
