Coping with change. How do you guys get on?

I'm close to the end of a course I've been doing and I'm actually a bit down about leaving.

My mates don't seem to get like this and have responded by saying 'it's exciting' etc... but I never feel that way, it's odd.

Too much time in the retro forum maybe?

Crap download speed and trying to download little big planet 2 which is just shy of 6GB

Down load it and then have to do 14 updates which total around 2GB and on update 12/14 which is a gig and it crashes

Plus I have to do it on two machines (upstairs and downstairs)

Looking forward to Catherine in a couple of weeks which is 10GB
Tried to re download from where it was stuck before and came straight up installing so I though yeh!!!!!! Then an error has occurred

So had to delete it and restart

      Bloody mince

When the times they are a changin' I panic for a little bit and then get on with it usually.

Hold on to the best bits and move forward with them. Change is going to happen, just try to move with it.

The ubiquitous use of the word "co-op" to describe all multiplayer games where you're not killing each other. "Multiplayer" or "2 player" worked for years and sounds much less stupid.

The crap at the end of forum posts that says something like: sent from my xxxxx using xxxxx. Is it really necessary and can't it be turned off? It feels like lame product placement or just useless information.

Forum posts here? Or other places? I have never seen that.

I see it in emails from iphone/ipad users.

Oh yeah, I get that in emails. Most people don't seem to even know their device is doing it and that it's easy to change or switch off.

They know, I can't say I knew myself I could turn it off but since it just appears as part of the "blank" email I get when I select 'new message' or 'reply' I just delete it before I write my email. I think most who leave it just want you to know they have an iPhone/iPad. Which I can kind of understand if it was still 2009 but now it's just lame...

Well turning them off was the first thing I did when I got my iPad and my iPhone.

Awesome, now everyone knows I have those and I think I was able to drop that in pretty casually.

If you ever thought having an iPad/iPhone was cool you should be shot.

Incase anyone missed that though you could take a self-pic in the mirror with your iPad. That's popular too.

Not really, I just mean you could see the logic when it was a ?500-entry club, now any old blaggard can pop down to CEX and trade their old FIFAs and the Peter Kay DVDs from their dad's Christmas stocking for an iPhone 3G.

I like the pic where the guy is using a 24 or 27 inch iMac to take a pic of himself in a mirror.

Man, I wish I could take a selfie with my Pokemon GBC. But I never got the camera add-on. I suck...

GBC Camera? Go Gizmondo or go home.

What's the significance of the Duck Phillips avatar anyway?
