One of my friends got a free one from work and swears by it too, even if it's as ugly as sin! Quite happy with my comparatively nondescript Logitech mouse though- I know that it's frowned on by some PC players but I don't think think that I could go back to playing with a wired mouse now.

Got a new SD card for my 3DS so I can download Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and was going to transfer my current SD data to my PC and then drag it onto the new SD card.

Foolishly I was in total auto-pilot and hit format on the 3DS SD card when it appeared in Windows Explorer.

Cue swearing at the realisation I had lost all my street passes and dismay that I'm going to have to re-download MK7, MK3DL and numerous eShop games.

Just...buggering toss flaps!!

Picked up Mac today after Apple having it for 10 days to repair.

They made a great point of telling me that they had to replace both the Screen and the Motherboard/CPU/RAM and that would of cost ?750 to replace if it happens again.

Buy Applecare, it's only ?290!

No thanks.


Took it away and looked at the invoice, they have replaced it with a Mobo with half the Ram on it :/

Nah, the "see 1 and there's 100" thing is complete BS. If you live low they just get in where they can. We had that problem when we lived on the ground floor. Do you not have screens on your windows? Those keep the mosquitoes out.

The mosquitoes aren't so much of a problem. The cockroaches are driving me mad though - no matter how many I kill, more keep appearing. I guess all I can do for the time being is keep spraying them until the supply of reinforcement cockroaches dries up.

I rarely shop in town (I usually get clothes online now) but in one visit this morning (the first trip into town in months) I saw two chavs fighting, multiple twats walking around with a cans of lager (it was ****ing 10:30!!!!) and was flipped off for no reason by some potential noble prize candidate driving by in his corsa.

Bring on the cull.
