Isle of Skye is absolutely wonderful place, highly recommended if you want to go on a photography trip.

Nice shots, but I have to ask - are people OK with you taking their picture? They seem like random 'interesting folk' that you've come across... but that lady with the dog looks none too impressed.

I got all excited, then looked at the price tag. Nice lens though. One day maybe.

http://www.lensesforhire.co.uk/ - you can rent in the UK too, I've used these people before to try a lens before I've gone out and spent several hundred pounds on them - I haven't looked to see if they've got the 35mm f/1.4.

Edit they have, but I think it might be the older version. ?52 for a 3 day hire.
