As for that Jaguar concept, I think all these things sound distracting at first, but we just build them into our perception and deal with it. Otherwise, we'd all have crashed the instant our mobile phone rung or had to put the aircon on or changed the channel on the radio.

Got my Qashqai finally on Wednesday. I'm so pleased with it.

It drives really well (maybe not as nice as the golf) and is rammed with every possible extra anybody could need. I've been blowing people's minds letting it park for me. I love it.

Boris, yes the Qashqai are lovely a friend has one, can't knock Nissan for build quality etc. Main dealers do charge Jaguar like prices for labour and servicing etc.

And there's me, the glow plugs (the diesel engine equivalent of spark plugs effectively) on my diesel need replacing, quoted around ?160 at a garage (plus more labour if they can't get them out easily or they snap) or it's around ?40 for the four plugs from Amazon and try and do it myself over Christmas...
