Mecha Mad and Figure Fixation V 2.0

This may not be the right thread, as this is not a mecha, and it's not strictly a figure, but it is a videogame 'character':



Tomytec 1/144 scale model F-15C in Galm 1 colours (from Ace Combat Zero). The smaller box is an LED unit for the thrusters to light them up. Can't wait to build! I'm tempted by Galm 2 as well, but the LED unit is out of production and not very easy to track down.

I've been getting perilously close to getting back into Star Wars & you're not helping!!!

I've got my eye on the Darth Maul Mythos at the moment & I know you don't like "dolls" but the Grievous & Darth Malgus 1/6th are looking bloody tempting, they both look amazing & the sheer amount of stuff with Grievous is mad.

I keep drooling over the Shaak Ti, Malgus & Aalya PF's but no way I can get involved there as well...plus if I do I'll know I'll have to get a Darth Talon & she's way out of my range.

Congrats on the haul though they look sweet

Some of those look great but I've got to admit to just not getting waist-up statues or busts. I always feel they look awesome and will be great when they're finished. Personal thing, I know.

Looks pretty bad ass but I'm so far out of the Star Wars universe these days that I'm not sure on who a lot of the characters are...I need to do some serious reading to catch up me thinks

Thanks buddy, yeah i keep saying i'm done with Star Wars but i keep getting dragged back in I'm pretty much gonna stick with Koto and Gentle Giant as they cover so many characters i'll never see in PF form. I've been super tempted with the Mythos line myself but i decided not to go with it even though i love Fett, Maul and Obi Wan, could still be tempted by a bargain though . They are doing another 5 for the mythos line apparently so maybe something good will pop up there and tempt me in, a Clone would get me to buy no problem lol.

I do plan on picking up the Captain Rex and Commander Cody PFs though soonish. Malgus looks fantastic, no real rush on him but something i wanna pick up if a bargain appears.

I'm a big bust fan, i do prefer Full Sizes overall but you do get a lot of characters done in bust form who you'd never get as a full size, and some of these GG busts like Shaak and Kit are pretty large and heavy in hand.

Yeah its Darth Revan from KOTOR, he comes with orange, purple and 2 red lightsabers so you can display him as Jedi or sith. I really wanna pick up Malak to go with him but his price is redonkulous.

Its a Galactic Marine, very cool looking trooper. You can see them with Commander Bacara when Order 66 is given and they kill Ki Adi Mundi in Episode 3.

That looks rather nice D. Are you going to paint it? I look forward to seeing the finished article with the engines on full burn!!

It's prepainted with very nice detailing and decals, the only thing that really needs done is an ink wash, but I won't bother. Happily there are two sets of LED units in the box so I may get Galm 2 after all!

Not a figure but i thought this might be appreciated in here, Went to Leed comic con this weekend and met Andrew Wildman, lovely bloke and very easy to talk too, seemed rude not to buy a signed print for my wall, I got the first book of Transformers ReGeneration One last Christmas so was nice to get something from a series I've read.

Need to get it framed properly but this will do till i get chance and stop the kids from spoiling it.
