found one of these hiding on a shelf in toys r us when i went to swap my Acid storm masterpiece transformer been on the fence about it but as it was under ?20 and the ebay prices for this are on the up it seemed rude not to pick it up, love Grimlock.




and here's a christmasy pic of my acid storm looks great as a robot and a jet think hes gonna be staying in robot form though as he is quite fragile.

Has anyone ever purchased an item from BBTS (BigBadToyStore)?

I am thinking of using them for a pre-order, but I thought it would be prudent to see if anyone has any experiences with them.

Ordered a few times with them and never had a problem. You will get charged customs though as they declare the full value on everything. But packaging and delivery speed is great.

I used them once & never again
I got stung hugely on Customs & it made what I'd ordered way more expensive than using Ebay sellers so decided I would avoid them wherever possible

Is there no one else you could use?

Heres my Tsume Byakuya Kuchiki from Bleach if you didn't know

Tsume are just awesome and are quickly becoming one of my fave statue producers. Their Bleach line is 1/6 scale and Byakuya stands around 13 inches tall.

One Piece, Asuras Wrath and more Bleach to come this year, i can't wait!

There appears to be the usual **** storm going down with issues on them...seems everytime SS release a piece there's problems these days

Yeah really am waiting on an Ichigo, they have done Kenpachi already and Ulquiorra is next but no sign of Ichigo yet, for some reason Tsume always make the main character later. In the Naruto line Naruto himself was released 3rd in line. For One Piece they have done the same with Zoro first and Usopp second, strange way to do it really.

I have seen the thread about Batman lol it seems its the usual - get low quality pictures + forum freaking out = statue is worthless **** lol.

Main issues seem to be the dark skin tones and the costume being a bit off, i still think it looks fantastic and i'm sure once people who know how to take a picture have him in hand it'll all calm down

I'm in the first batch for mine but he will be going straight up for sale, but i'll post my pics up in here for you guys.

Besides BBTS, Toy-wave and HobbyLink Japan are the only sites I can find that have it up for pre-order.

I've had a look on eBay and only 1 seller carries the item (again, based in Japan), but I'm weary that if things go pear shaped, it'll be a pain in the arse getting my money back through PayPal. This point is exacerbated by the fact that ThreeZero don't do massive production runs, so if I miss it initially, it will cost more on the secondary market (my hypotheses anyway!).

Just realised I've not mentioned what it is I'm talking about , it's the Zoids Shield Liger which is due around March.

I know Darwock has been talking about it on the forums over at Zoids Poison, but the thread has gone quite on it.

Yeah seems weird to work that way but I guess it's a business plan...get people hooked with the quality displayed producing lesser characters & then totally blow them away when you drop the big hitters.

Decided I'm not really a big enough Superman fan & I doubt I'll be able to have the space for him & the Bat family as well.
I probably could have flipped him but decided I'd let someone who really wanted the Ex on the waitlist have him.

I'm sticking with Kotobukiya for DC stuff, i have the Blue Hush 1/6 Batman and i've paid up on For Tomorrow Superman. 1/6 Is my preferred scale overall and i think the Koto Batman and Superman both look better than the SS ones lol

Didn't order Superman. I have a Harley Quinn EX on order though Nipples sell lol.

Grover - Try e-mailing estaticarts.co.uk or eyeonasia.co.uk see if they are going to stock it. I've asked estaticarts to get in all my Tsume stuff for me and they have. Failing that try some of the site that stock 1/6 figures like ThreeA etc they might be able to get you one.

Well HLJ are very good but I do know people have started getting hit with Customs from there lately (a friend got a ?22 charge on his ?40 TF Masterpiece Smokescreen for example) so might be one to avoid.

I've just done a quick search of my go to places...

Nin-Nin-Game - Zip
Anime Export - Nada
One Sixth Bruce - Nope
Collectibles Direct - Nah

I still think Three Zero & going to be limited with who supplies them so you might have to go with BBTS & just take the hit, they are good but I just didn't feel they were any better than some of the Ebay sellers like Toy Arena so moved over to them instead.

I am pretty interested in that Liger myself so might have to take a look see what the price is like.
