I assumed this would be just the free 'BS' (broadcast satellite) channels, but we actually receive all the subscription channels, including the sports channels! So I get to watch the rest of the Premier League season all on the telly in HD.

A shame the season is over soon and I'll be moving out within a couple of months anyway, but its a nice surprise!
Just before moving to Canada they upgraded us to get free digital cable TV, and told us we had had the regular cable TV for free since we'd moved in...2 years before...

My CEX has an Oculus Rift for sale. Seems weird seeing something like that in there!

?275, quite a few stores have them.

I come *this* close every day to putting down a preorder on the new model. That's an attractive price though.

Thing that brings a smile to my face, fitting into a side of trouser I can't recall buying since I was 17.

Buying some trainers and them being 50% when I get them to the til

The comments on here are fantastic it starts with an image of the Ace Attorney Manga in someones university law library, this is then called into question ace attorney style, as they don't have barcodes and labels on the spines like other books in the library.

The local supermarket (here in Switzerland) started to sell locally produced onigiri in various flavours, with the nori wrapping, and packaging in Japanese. Don't ask me why, but they did.

Remember how happy you were when you got your Raspberry Pi project to do, well, anything? Programming savant and photographer David Hunt has merely created a working cellphone with his, complete with video proof (below). The PiPhone consists of a bunch of off-the-shelf parts, like a PiTFT touchscreen and 2,500mAh battery that cost a grand total of $158. While that might seem a lot for an ungainly dumbphone, bear in mind that it's a one-off with no economies of scale working for it. As any Pi hobbyist knows, it's also an impressive feat and Hunt is willing to upload his source code if you're brave enough to give it a crack. [Image credit: David Hunt]

Putting clueless political canvassers though an absolute grilling and leaving them shattered and broken. If you don't want to be thoroughly questioned on your policies, budget and EXATCLY what your going to do, not empty promises, then don't knock at my door
