New set coming in a couple of weeks rumoured to be a Stranger Things set. Nothing confirmed but peeps on the net have been doing some top detective sleuthidge.

Hopefully it's rubbish... I can't spend anymore on Lego for a while

Just got the GB reboot Ecto-1 for £20 and also the Lego Batman Arkham Asylum set for £60 so must resist more for a while now...

You get what you pay for Bought the LED kit for the 2016 Ecto 1 and it's all fully built, displayed and customised now but turns out not all the lights work on the LED kit. It will work within the context I'm going to go for with the display but reminds me not to rely on the cheapest kits

I just ordered The Upside Down (new Stranger Things set) from the Lego Store. Worth it imo purely for the minifigs and Jim's police car.

I really like that Stranger Things set, brilliant use of the license. Only thing I'm not keen on is the price which seems set high

It's not cheap, but it's been compared to The Simpsons House in terms of similar price/piece count/big popular tv licence, etc (though obviously nowhere near as big as The Simpsons). But the fact it's more of a cult following makes it that much cooler imo. That's how I've justified it to myself anyway ... and it's my first Lego purchase in a long time.
