Didn't sleep until 2am and could've had a lie-in on account of the typhoon but I'm actually at work ten minutes early like a twat. The one time I need the saikyou line to bugger up and it's perfectly fine.

The good news is tomorrow I do have a lie-in because my manager signed me up for some beginner's Excel and Powerpoint lessons at a business college and the hours mean there's no point coming to work. It'll be good for vocab, I guess. And I'll finally have a lesson where I can probably contribute something useful, unlike the business Japanese lessons where I sit like a silent wally for the most part.

My day has been less than wonderful.

This morning while chatting to the apartment block's maintenance lady I almost bumped into an old man entering the building. He got startled and tried to stop but slipped on the wet floor and hit the back of his head. I helped him up and he said he was ok but he was visibly shaken a bit.

Then at work there was a lizard pissing about near one of the windows. Later on I noticed he was stuck in the sliding window and his head and tail were sticking out. I figured someone must've opened the window and trapped the poor guy so I opened it.

Nope, he had just stuck his bits through a gap beneath the window pane but my opening it did actually kill him. He turned grey instantly.

So I grabbed his tail and chucked him out the window but turns out he was actually alive; he just got shocked and changed colour. But now I'm not sure

Have put GTA V in my PS3. Spent the last 90 minutes updating, still isn't done. US PSN appears to have crashed for me twice so I've made a new profile on my PS3 and logged into my first EU PSN account. Here's hoping it doesn't screw up again.

Not sure how pulling patches from which server works either. Does it auto detect region or go by account location? Either way, isn't fast by any means.

You could just disconnect from the interweb and play offline for now and update at a later date.

Done now, now another wait while it dumps 8GB on my HDD.

Oh how I miss the PS3 download and installation delays. Not.

The last was MGS4! Maybe GT5 too, but I got Academy Edition last time I repurchased it which has the bigger patches included.
