Unsurprisingly, the news sites are leaving this little bit not easily spotted: "Some committee members felt that the wording of the motion being presented would unfairly demonise all Muslims rather than solely the group of people it set out to rightfully condemn."
So the headline should be: "NUS delays condemning ISIS until the motion is worded correctly" i.e. not even slightly worth reporting on unless you are trying to drum up some non-news story. Oh, so that's all "journalists" these days.

Lazy people. Guy wants $10 in change but "has walked far enough" and won't come to the front desk to sign the paperwork.
My own double standards. I'm too used to kicking homeless out of the hotel but today we had a girl who probably wasn't even 17 sleeping on the mezzanine. I woke her up the usual way but she was shaking too much and obviously was on something. She told me she had only been drinking but I'm sure that's not the truth. Generally my rule is: get out. I have to stick to that because people have taken advantage of my good-hearted nature in the past. This one was still a child. I got her a bottle of water and a hot tea, we called her mother to come and pick her up. I did have a blanket on the way as she was still shivering after being inside the hotel for over an hour, but her mother got here quickly enough that it wasn't needed.
And I hate people calling me sir.

I keep wondering what made her jump out of the car. Too many questions from her mother perhaps.
Reminds me of something my mother said about not pushing us too hard in school as she was too afraid of what the pressure might do to us. Two of my cousins (sisters, but not together or at the same time) ran away a couple of times when they were younger. My family has it's share mental health issues I guess.
