I get deferred hangovers these days. It's always two days afterwards, which is annoying as I usually drink on Saturday nights.

Our office manager got a 28" 4K monitor. Just set it up. Crikey, the Windows icons were tiny! It's running in 1600x900 now and he's really happy because he doesn't need to use his glasses. Yes, he didn't need a 4K monitor but my manager picked it, probably to fulfill some tech fantasy of his.

One nice thing is it doesn't blur when stretching, so could be interesting for retro games at least...

Lol I'm alright. My monitor is lovely, as well. It's an Eizo one. My manager has two 26" monitors and a 23" one! In fact, in our little section of the office everyone has two monitors so I got jealous and nabbed a random 17" one so I wouldn't look out of place

That is a major irk: Windows very poor handling of high ppi monitors. I have a 11" 1080p tablet/pc thing and the traditional desktop in Win8.1 is tiny. So I scaled the desktop size up and then lo, when I tried to run Flixter it tells me it won't work unless the UI is scaled to 100%. What crap!

Apple, with their DTP focus in the 90s had UI scaling sorted years ago...

It's all about finding your drink. I only really drink neat disarano these days, rarely bear, makes me feel bloated and sick. Disarano on the other hand I can drink about 2 litres of and fine.

I used to get loads of mouth ulcers as a kid, thankfully stopped years ago, painful and some lasted best part of a week, ouch.
Anbesol used to number them well (don't use Anusol by mistake!)
