I will be speaking to them again tonight. They are not bad people, just probably don't realise how loud they are. After all, a partially deaf old lady lived in my place for 15 years.
Final chance for them tonight though.

Was wondering how come I can now hear my new neighbours a lot more than normal. Chatting today and he has built a fireplace, i.e. cut a hole in the wall, so there's now very little between our lounge and his.... I can hear his TV and people chatting now (not what they are saying). Presume he can hear us too.

Still, free eggs from his chickens.

I don't mind general noise of course. It's nice to have things a bit more chilled at night though. Music is not an issue during the day.

If you like them, pay it, you won't be disappointed. I saw them here in 2010 or 11 and it was the bollocks. They played for nearly 3 hours, covered old stuff and new stuff and all the favourites.

I've seen them loads, including their first UK gig at Reading 95, so I can cope without this one.

I found the last two albums to be a bit bland too.

Plus it's not cool to like a band if everyone else does. Haven't you heard?

They're just so safe these days. If someone asks me what music I like, instead of listing whatever Bandcamp nobodies I'm listening to at that time, I'll say Foo Fighters because everyone knows and loves them.

There's no denying it'll be a great show though. Dave Grohl is the second best live frontman I've seen after Aki from Electric Eel Shock, but you're not allowed to know who they are or they'll become uncool!

I stood through boring boring Echobelly to get a good spot.

Do you remember the chump who climbed the middle support post and they had to stop the gig until he got down?

Smashing Pumpkins were amazing too, but they played a really biased set towards Melon Collie which hadn't come out yet.
I remember Billy Corgan singing something about a rat in cage.

Look at this line-up! My irk is you don't get festivals like this anymore #oldman

poor you Echobelly really!!! Saturday is a bit weak apart form the fooos with Paul Weller and the boo Radleys and far to many substandard brit pop bands. Friday and Sunday are amazing though, No Fx cancelled which was a disappointment as the guitarists cut his hand. I remember Shannon Hoon from Blind melon being off his face completely to the point where he could barley sing and just stumbled about the stage, he died later that year too from an overdose which was no suprise really. Crowd surfing to green day was mental i got landed on by a giant fat guy though while watching Pavement, nearly knocked me out OOoof

3 day ticket ?60 in advance lol what's it cost now

That Reading 95 must have been amaze. And Dub War ftw. This should not be in the irk thread.

                              Omg I love ees!!!

Relax, I have no idea who they are. Did I ever tell you about when 118118 gave me a free ticket to the chillies? And I only went for free food and to see James Brown supporting?

The Saturday for that Reading festival! Foos AND skunk anansie on that same day!? Irks me I didn't go.

I'll out grumpy old man you all, for that line up I'd have been happy about one act on the Friday, two on the Saturday and three on the Sunday! Worryingly I've seen a huge amount of the bands on the bill that are absolutely awful, too much time spent at festivals myself all those years ago I suppose..........
