These are kind of figures so these are going in here, i don't normally buy western gacha stuff but i have been a huge fan of the wacky packages trading cards from Topps for years as i love food parody stuff. They did their own attempt at making real miniatures of their parodies but they were really crudely made. Just recently found that the mini brands company started doing gross parodies like wacky packages, however the detail is super high end.
So yeah i err did a thing
The capsules are really expensive but you do get 3 figures in each one plus some slime and a logo sticker for a brand in the series.
The aftermath of opening a ton of capsules both series just over half complete but i'm going to have to scour ebay for certain chase rares as the pull rate is dire and i don't have an army of friends to trade doubles with.
This is the binder for series 1 i hope they do another for series 2 if not i'll have to look at another gacha display case from Japan.
These are some of my faves, i genuinely have laughed at some of them they are delightfully vile.
Nutella oh sorry i mean Buttella, this one is the stinky rare from series 2, the tiny moulded fly on the bog roll thats just sharted is a chefs kiss. It's scented just how you think it would be and i aint talking chocolate smelling.
Like i said the detail is unreal, those roaches are not stickers but moulded in 3D and then printed on top, the teeth are loose in the bottle.

Series 2 has three that are the extremely rare liquid filled ones. I managed to pull the lipton ice tea one it has a little pair of false teeth floating inside.
Series 1 has two that are super rare mouldy variants i managed to grab the mouldy McDoanalds. mmm McMaggot burger the mould effect looks really well done.
A lot of my spare change will be going towards trying to complete at least the main sets as well as the liquid chase figures there' a few more smelly ones and some that glow but i can leave those as they look identical to the regular versions. It;s fun to find something to collect again as i haven't done it in quite a while and these are fun & make me laugh. Room smells vile though from all this pvc offgassing at the moment lol.

Yeah there's a reason mini brands look kind of similar it's created by zuru the same company that makes these, they are like lootbox gacha crack for tweens & teen (and 48 year olds lol) i'm glad only this certain spinoff series fascinates me as i'd be in financial destitution trying to amass them all. Just getting complete sets of these 2 series will be a challenge.
Wacky packages really are a weakness of mine i just love the art, however these gross mini brands are a little more extreme on the grossness. This is your average wacky package card. I would dearly love to get back in to garbage pail kids however i'm too far behind to ever catch up it's just too much to even try and go for completing set wise.

This year I've gone a bit crazy for Tokidoki figures thanks to several discounted sales of them, those Mega Gross minis importaku posted reminds me of the opposite spectrum of the little guys I have smiling at atm (just need to find space to display the ones I actually wanna keep), mainly the jar of Nuttela. Will post some pics later.
I always loved the idea of the Garbage pail kids but didnt really understand what they were until I was an adult on the internet lolComment

Mines Adam bomb, still remember pulling him while on my way to middle school stopping at the indian corner shop for a couple of packs to open while i walked, The art has always been amazing on them, so many series of them now with some stupidly rare ones.

Finally got around to unboxing and putting together the second series of pikmin terrariums, i really wish they would put bigger pics on box so i can see how parts are meant to line up as the holes are not always obvious. Also pretty pissed off as one of them was broken the clear pole that was set in the base had snapped off why they decided to install it and ship it like that instead of putting it in a little baggie like they have done with others so you can then just push it in yourself suffice to say i managed to just about recover it and repair the break with some super glue and it's in a place under the pink macaroon that isn't really seen so it was saved or i really wou;dn't have been happy about it.
They do look lovely when all assembled the light pikmin glow in the dark if you charge them up under a bulb.
wonder if they have peaked for ideas or they will eventually do a series three.

Slowly plugging away at trying to complete those gross mini sets by buying a couple of double packs of each series every so often, reached the part where i'm less than 5 away for series 1 so i decided after this to buy the remaining singles i need on their own or via bundles on ebay, as despite the check list saying some are commons there's some shady buisness going on as some are next to impossible to find that if they were common they would be all over ebay which they aren't i'd rather pay slightly more and get the last handful so i'm not blowing £10 on a pack only to get nothing new inside it.
Anyway todays gross delights some new ones in these sets thankfully, rather pleased to grab the skittles one from the second series as it's one that is supposedly common but very few people seem to be able to find it. The aftermanth of a couple of double pack openings.
Also grabbed the missing spew sushi from series one i was still needing lol it's so vile but i love all the nutritional facts that are on every item somewhere they are pretty funny. Luckily each capsule comes with a tiny magnifying glass so you can read all the text as it is tiny.
Still debating wether to complete the sticker sets too as each item has a matching logo sticker. Might have to trawl ebay usa for those as there's not a lot of it on the uk side at all.
