I would've thought it obvious my use of traumatic was an over emphasis of how much I hated clothes shopping, but never mind.

Horses for courses.

You used 'borderline traumatic' to describe a situation that you hated, I used 'not traumatic at all' to describe a marginally uncomfortable situation in which a Japanese man measured from the edge of my balls to my ankles with some slight, umm, interaction.

But seriously, you said buying a suit involved three hours of trying far too much clothing on so I posted my fitting experience which was vastly different to normal clothes shopping.

It's the shirts that annoy me.
Apparently if you have a 16.5inch neck then you also have a 56inch chest! Tailored fit shirts are slightly better but still smock like.
End up having to buy slim fit. Which is the only time that slim is ever mentioned in relation to me!

Suits just look like pyjamas to me. I won't wear one.

Know what you mean, I'm a 16.5" collar too, and the general cut of the shirt is very ample in size, you're doing well to get in to a slim fit though, bit too tight for me.

Manchester City are confident they have finally agreed a deal to sign Belgium midfielder Kevin de Bruyne, 24, from Wolfsburg for an initial ?54m. (Guardian)

Manuel Pellegrini's side plan to offer De Bruyne a contract until 2021 worth ?15m per year, almost ?300,000 a week. (Daily Mirror)
So that is roughly a ?144M commitment to just one player. The mind boggles.

Funny you say that. One of mine really does look like pyjamas to me. Annoyingly, it was the one people liked a lot at my old office.

Had deliveries routed to my flat for most of this week, anticipating two days of working from home due to the planned Tube strikes.

Spent yesterday evening standing in line at the local sorting office instead, first time I've been there for ages!

Well Colin, I think you look rather dashing in your pinstripe suit!

That certainly was the look I was aiming for QC, hopefully I can achieve it. Maybe I should've added an emoticon after my comment to give it balance Kryss.

You're lucky, my local sorting office when everything returns to closes at 4.30pm, so I have to go there before work or wait until Saturday.

All the red top papers have the same picture of the freeze-framed footage of the US reporter as she's shot.

"See the whole shocking video on our website!"

This morbid snuff celebration doesn't sit comfortably with me.

It is absolutely disgusting that people are not only wanting to watch it but the news sites that host the videos profit from it, totally disgusting...

I feel for the families of those victims, having people gawp at their loved ones last moments.

10 years ago hosting that kind of video on the internet was illegal. Absolutely tragic incident but there's no reason to make a video like that viral. I hate the news.
